Unhealthy Diet – Diet plays an important role for this particular disease and consumption of foods that contain too much calcium oxalate and uric acid are mainly responsible for the formation of kidney stone. These foods that are rich in calcium oxalate and uric acid gives a way to the development of crystals in the urinary tract of most individuals.
Lack of Fluid Intake – Low consumption of water and other liquids is also a main cause for the formation of kidney stone. How Kidney Stones are formed?
The formation of kidney stone is the result of defects in the general metabolism. Kidney stone formation usually occur when the urine becomes highly concentrated due to heavy perspiration or insufficient fluid intake. Kidney stones are aggravated by lifestyle also.
The kidney stones are formed from the chemicals usually found in urine such as uric acid, phosphorus, oxalic acid and calcium.
One of the most common causes of stone is not drinking enough water. Insufficient water intake results in less urine and the urine is highly concentrated. So to avoid the formation of stone drink enough water. Drinking 2-3 liter water a day is good for health.
Other causes of kidney stones are wrong diet, consumption of other acid forming food, sugar and white flour products, meat, tea, Coffee, condiments, spices, rich foods and overeating. Lack of vitamin A and excessive intake of vitamin could also lead to kidney stone formation.
People who have a family history of stones are more likely to have kidney stones.
